A History of Rome and its Monuments: from Imperial Rome to the present day Italian Culture/A HISTORY OF ROME.pptx

Due to another engagement, our walk through Rome will take place on Saturday, June 1st.

Tour of Rome: departure from Cassino 9.13 arrival at Termini at 11.07

Meeting point: in front of McDonald's inside the station (there is one outside. Don't go there.)

In Cassino buy a "biglietto BIRG fascia 7" at 14.50 euros. REMEMBER to punch it and write your name and birthdate. This is good for the entire Lazio region for the whole day (except trains to Fiumicino) so will be good for the trip to and back and for all buses and metros in Rome. DO NOT LOSE IT

Bring lunch, walking shoes and something in case it rains. Watchout for pickpockets in crowded areas.

We will be doing stuff that is free, except for the visit to the Coliseum and Forum, which should be around

The exam should take place on Thursday, June 27

Students should review the presentation A History of Rome and the documentary mentioned in it. Following are some examples of the questions that could be asked: Italian Culture/questions examples.docx
